This is an amazingly simple but effective tool to use gratitude to increase the positive vibrations you are sending out to the Universe. Make your own Gratitude Journal, and find what happens when you write in it consistently.

What is a Gratitude Inspiration Journal or Gratitude Book

A Gratitude Inspiration Journal or Gratitude Book is a tool that could change the quality of your life beyond belief: writing daily in your journal has profound effects on your life. In simple terms it is just a book you write in daily, or whenever you can. But in some senses it is a lot more than that.

How to Make Your Gratitude Journal

  • Purchase a beautiful notebook from the stationery store – lovely paper and a soft textured cover are great. These details express the importance of what you are going to write.
  • Print a copy of the quotation from Sarah Ban Breathnach below
  • Paste this quotation on the inside cover of your Gratitude Journal, and begin writing in it today
  • Write five things you are grateful for each day, just before you go to sleep
  • You can add some great Gratitude Quotes to your Gratitude Journal to inspire you, or even get creative with pictures, stickers and doodles to make it attractive. This might be a way to encourage children – a bit of color and illustrating helps them to see what they are grateful for. But for you, just a basic book is fine – just being grateful every day is what is important.

How Does it Work?

Some days it’s easy of course to find lots of things you are grateful for, when the whole world seems rosy; other days are not so good. When you do this exercise you start to be grateful for all the things you feel good about. As soon as you start to feel differently about what you already have, you will start to attract more of the good things, more of the things you can be grateful for …… Focus on what you already have that you are grateful for”.
