Personal Coaching for Motivation

Get a Personal Coach

A Do It Yourself Life Coaching Manual, Life Coaching Training Online – what is going to work for you?
Do you even need a Personal Coach?

If you’re like most people, you’ve probably heard quite a lot about personal coaching lately.
Indeed, personal coaches are one of the fastest growing industries out there, so it must be the case that a lot of people are finding a use for them in their lives.
Maybe you’ve considered jumping on this bandwagon, but you’re not quite sure if a personal coach could help you.

"I absolutely believe that people, unless coached, never reach their maximum potential."
Bob Nardelli CEO, Home Depot

Do I need a Coach?

To help you figure out if a personal coach is for you or not, why not ask yourself some of the following questions?

  • Can you recall a time in the past when you felt confident and motivated? Do you find yourself wondering why it is that you don’t feel that way any longer?
  • Do you remember a time when you seemed to have everything in order? Do you often find yourself wondering why it is that you can no longer seem to get a grasp on all of your responsibilities? As if organization is a hopeless dream?
  • Do you feel nervous and restless more often than you should? Perhaps you feel this way even when there isn’t any apparent cause for it?
In other words, if you’re finding that you’re just not achieving the same results that you used to, it might just be time to ask for the help of a personal coach.
There’s no shame in admitting that you can’t do everything on your own, and that’s precisely what a personal coach is here for: to help you regain the sense of motivation that you need in order to be able to perform at your best.

What Kind of Personal Coach is Right for Me?

Not all personal coaches are created equally, however.
There are dozens of different types of personal coaches out there, and if you’re going to get the most out of your coaching, you need to pick the kind that’s right for you.
The different types of coaches are identified mainly by the areas that they specialize in.

Relationship Coaches
For instance, there are relationship coaches, who can help you to get a better grasp on the various interpersonal relationships in your life, whether they’re personal or professional.
These types of coaches tend to be able to offer advice to allow you to relate more honestly to those you interact with, as well as to empower you to be able to establish rapport and deal confidently with clients in a business setting.

Sports and Fitness Coaches
There are sports coaches for professional athletes, who help them to advance by gauging their weak points and areas of strength, and then setting target performance goals for them to meet.
In addition, they give them the tools and coaching necessary to be able to meet these performance goals and enjoy steady growth.

Personal Coach
However, the type of coach that we’re talking about when we speak of personal coaches are those that deal primarily with whatever problems are preventing YOU from achieving your goals.
That’s the kind of personalized attention you can expect from a personal coach. They will look at your life, analyse what obstacles seem to be inhibiting you from realizing your potential, and then work with you to remove those obstacles one by one.
When you’ve finished dealing with a personal coach, you will always come away the better for it, feeling as if you’ve refined the content of your life and have a new and firmer grasp on where you’re going in the future.

In other words, if we’re to answer the question of who needs a life coach, we might well say that anyone who has obstacles in their life that, if removed, would allow them to achieve their goals and dreams more easily could benefit from their services.
Not surprisingly, this definition seems to fit most everybody out there.

Maybe now you’re beginning to see just why life coaches have become so popular as of late?

Coaching and Mentoring Objectives - Building Self Confidence Through Coaching

"Got a nagging feeling that your life could be more fulfilling? Want to change direction but aren't sure how to do it? Here's how to jump start your new life today ... Hire a personal coach."
Modern Maturity

The fact is, many people out there today are suffering from low self confidence and are in need of increased motivation if they’re ever going to get up and realize their dreams.
It follows, then, that a personal coach has a lot to offer most of us.

Just what are the benefits of working with a personal life coach?

A Coach is an Impartial Observer
First of all, a personal coach will, in the beginning stages, become an observer of all aspects of your life.
He or she will observe how you conduct yourself, how you make decisions, and how you follow through on those decisions.
Because they’re a completely impartial third party, the perspective that they can offer you is a clear and unobstructed one. They’ll be able to identify exactly where you’re taking the wrong turns that cause you to defeat yourself.

A Coach gives you confidence
Armed with this knowledge, you’ll be able to make the necessary changes to your life that are going to allow you to move forward with confidence again.
You’ll be able to approach your goals with a sense of well being and the firm conviction that, in time, you will achieve them, and that nothing can possibly stand in the way of your doing this.

A Coach Helps Create Your Custom Tailored Plan
However, a personal coach won’t expect you to make those necessary changes to your life on your own!
Indeed, that’s where the second benefit of life coaches comes into play.
After identifying with you what changes need to be made, a personal coach will work right alongside you to help you establish a realistic and functional plan for enacting those changes.
Because a personal coach will have been observing your life all along, they’ll know where your strengths and weaknesses lie, and will be in a unique position to help you come up with a plan that plays to those strengths, and avoids your weaknesses.
Only through the custom tailored plan offered by a life coach who has observed and learned about your particular situations will you be able to achieve the level of success that you desire.

A Coach Gives you Perspective
To put it simply, the primary benefit of a personal coach is the ability that they confer upon you to see your life from the outside.
Understandably, this gives you the perspective you need to be able to precisely identify the obstacles that lie in your way without your view being twisted by your personal biases and prejudices.

Now that you know about all the benefits that a personal life coach can bring you, aren’t you eager to try one out?

But not so fast!

Choosing the Right Coach is Crucial to Your Success
A mentor or coach and a pupil share a very intimate relationship.
It’s important the two personalities mesh well and that they be able to share information honestly and appropriately.
The best coach in the world won’t be able to help you if you and he have incompatible personalities! As such, you really must take the time to learn how to pick the life coach who is right for you.

To this end, we’re now offering an e-book on just that topic:
